puisse dire, c’est qu’elle est lapidaire.
Pour terminer, je signale un fait qui ne me paraissait pas évident au début mais qui prend maintenant toute son importance. Les menaces adressées à Siri en 1958 n’étaient pas vaines ; en effet, nous savons comment les cardinaux francs-maçons ont liquidé Jean-Paul1er, pourtant l’un des leurs ; donc on peut penser qu’un sort similaire pouvait attendre Siri s’il n’avait pas trahi. De plus, nous savons par l’histoire que le Vatican fut attaqué par deux fois en 1943 afin de pouvoir éliminer Pie XII : il est vrai qu’on était en pleine guerre, et qu’il y avait un vrai Pape ! Donc la similitude s’arrête là. Ceci dit, en 1958, le bruit court que Pie XII aurait été empoisonné par son médecin ! Donc Siri pouvait savoir ce qui l’attendait ! Ces simples réflexions font voir que les menaces de 1958 n’étaient pas des menaces en l’air ; mais quoique feutrées pour ne pas alarmer, Siri les aura bien comprises et a agi en conséquence pour son propre intérêt, et on en revient toujours à ce dilemme : lui d’abord, l’Église ensuite ! To conclude, I would like to point out a fact that did not seem obvious to me at first but which now takes on its full significance. The threats made against Siri in 1958 were not empty; indeed, we know how the Freemason cardinals eliminated John Paul I, even though he was one of their own; so one might think that a similar fate could have awaited Siri had he not betrayed them. Furthermore, we know from history that the Vatican was attacked twice in 1943 in an attempt to eliminate Pius XII: it is true that we were in the midst of a war, and that there was a true Pope! So the similarity ends there. That said, in 1958, rumours circulated that Pius XII had been poisoned by his doctor! So Siri could have known what lay in store for him! These simple observations show that the threats of 1958 were not empty threats; but although they were couched in hushed tones so as not to cause alarm, Siri would have understood them perfectly well and acted accordingly in his own interest, and we always come back to this dilemma: himself first, the Church second! In other words, a betrayal.
